VIVA VIGAN CITY
Vigan known for its preserved Spanish colonial and Asian architecture. There are many places to travel in this city. There are also products and festival they are celebrating, one of them is what we call the "Vigan City Fiesta". Vigan City Fiesta is held in honor of St. Paul the Apostle, the city patron saint, on 25th of January each year.
In this year, our celebration of Vigan City Fiesta is different now, not like before that we can do anything. Before the spread of the virus, there are events that we can attend like watching the parade around the City of Vigan and watching performances in front of the Ilocos Sur Provincial Capitol. In this pandemic, we will not be able to do the things we do in the past 3 years on celebrating Vigan City Fiesta because we are making our community safe and to stop the spread of the virus.
Let us spread happiness even though there is pandemic in our city, so that we can still feel happy in our upcoming fiesta and have some great day. We should not forget about our fiesta to make our city alive even though there is pandemic.

ReplyDeleteIt's true that celebrating fiesta like this is far different from before, considering the situation we are in. But even though it's a tough and rough time, we should really not forget to celebrate the fiesta of our beloved city. Let's then spread happiness as you said. Happy Fiesta! Viva Vigan!!!

ReplyDeleteYour works define the reality of our current situation. Yes, it is really hard for us to celebrate festivals because of this pandemic. As you said Let's spread happiness instead of sadness for our current situation.
And outstanding job you've done, really. I have to agree by the fact that celebrating festivals is more likely not to happen due to the pandemic. But despite that, just like most say, its better to spread positivity rather than being dull.
